The subject of the present invention is a security casing device for an electrical lighting plate. It is constituted by the combination firstly of a back 1, made of insulating material equipped with a terminal strip 8 together with an integrated indicator lamp 9 showing the presence of voltage, as well as with a hook means 6, with fixing means for appliances or appliance-carrying plate, and provided with top 3 and bottom 4 transverse partitions, the latter being intended to receive the cable grommets or glands and to prevent access to the live parts and then, with a cap, also made of insulating material, with a top transverse partition, sliding on the back 1 and being fitted to the transverse partitions 3, 4 of the back in order to form an enclosure impermeable to dust and to trickling water, and fitted with a stop preventing the unintentional separation of the two elements, as well as with a system for holding in the open position and, finally, with a locking means requiring the use of a tool and which can be lead sealed.
