Bar support for an obstacle for a horse show (show jumping) of that type which includes a plate 1 having two parallel fingers 3 on one of its faces and a foot 5 for supporting the bar on the other, characterised in that the support is produced as a single piece moulded from a rigid plastic which is, however, elastically deformable, and in that the face 2 of the plate which includes the fingers 3 has at its periphery a bead 9 whose height is greater than the radius of curvature of the fillets 8 connecting the fingers to the plate.
