The membrane can be employed especially for recovering strong inorganic acids in the form of solution of high normality. It comprises at least one first elementary membrane 22 which has a low selective permeability and a high swelling ratio, and two membranes 24, 26 which have a high selective permeability and offer a high resistance to strong acids, encasing the first elementary membrane.
