WORKING SHAPE COPYING METHOD IN CAD/CAM SYSTEM FOR METALLING MOLD

摘要

PURPOSE:To smoothly copy a working shape by calculating automatically a wire cutting start point after copy of a shape based on a working data file for selected working shaped an storing the wire cutting start point and other working designation contents in the produced working data file. CONSTITUTION:If it is decided that a working data file is set to a selected working shape 13, a processor 1 of a CAD/CAM system copies the shape 13 and also produce automatically a working data file for the copied shape 13. Then the processor 1 calculates automatically a wire cutting start point after copy of the shape 13 based on the working data file. The calculated start point is stored in the working data file and other working designation contents. Thus the shape 13 is smoothly copied.
