METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING PRINTING LEVEL OF CONTROLLER FOR AUTOMATIC PRINTING OF DIAZO COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To make the deflection of an indication meter constant, by prohibiting lighting of a level display means for automatic printing having plural lighting elements while the transmittance of light through an original is under detection, and lighting one among the plural lighting elements corresponding to a printing level when the printing stage after the detection of the transmittance of the light through the original is attained. CONSTITUTION:The analog signals outputted from comparators C1-CN of a detection circuit 40 for transmittance of light through an original are applied to an analog/digital converter and a holding circuit 54 in the next stage. The digital signal corresponding to the optimum transmittance of light through the original held in the 2nd circuit 54 is applied to an encoder 56. The encoder 56 outputs the signal corresponding to the input signal. A latch circuit 62 receiving the control signal from a timing circuit 60 latches the output signal of the encoder 56 and outputs the latched signal to a control circuit 64 for display of an automatic printing level and a D/A conversion circuit 66. The circuit 64 lights one lighting element corresponding to the printing level among the plural lighting elements in accordance with the signal from the circuit 62. None of the elements of a level display means 68 are lighted while the transmittance of light is under detection as mentioned above.
