In a gantry sliding device for a gantry-type machine tool, in particular a milling machine or a drilling machine, the running rollers of the gantry, via which the latter is supported on running surfaces of the machine frame, are designed as self-aligning rolling bearings. Likewise, guide rollers which are arranged on either side of longitudinal-guide sectional bars and can roll on the vertical longitudinal surfaces of the same are designed as self-aligning rolling bearings.
