The automatic fodder supply for pigs comprises a tubular container having at the bottom an ellipsical recess (5) through which the pig pushes her head towards the inner feeding area which is set below the actual fodder supply container from which the fodder can run down via two downwardly inclined stepped plates. The stepped plate (9) opposite the recess (5) is mounted with its free end inclined down towards the feeding trough (3) of the feeding area (7). The fodder cleaning lever (20) is mounted on this stepped plate (9) and is provided with at least one tine (21) which spreads over the other stepped plate (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - A reliable supply of pig feed is ensured even when using feed which is likely to clog together.
