Simultaneous heterogeneous immunoassay of several analyte

Heterogeneous immunoassay process comprises (1) incubating with at least two receptors, R1 (which provides for binding to a solid phase) and R2 (which is a conjugate of a ligand, able to bind to the analyte, and a label), using a solid phase to which a specific-binding cpd. is attached; (2) sepg. the solid and liq. phases, and (3) detecting the label in one of these two phases. The new features are that the solid phase is a material having specific binding partners (SBP) bonded to its surface, and that the test sample is incubated with several different receptors R1, with each having binding sites specific for both SBP and an analyte.
