The equipment includes temp. sensors (10,12,14) with equal sensitivity, mounted on a heat sink (16) in a specific manner. The difference between the sensor outputs is used to determine the thermal state of the room, utilising a microprocessor and read only memory. Preferably, an array of detectors/sensors" is used to provide data re air flow and temp.. The head sink should be in four sync. parts and include heat isolator section (18,20). The sensors may be thermocouple or thermostat. USE/ADVANTAGE - Fine detection systems; records absolute temp., and allows calculation of air flow information.
