The invention relates to a low [extra-low] mobile sorter provided with a laterally agitated grating whose purpose is firstly to eliminate foreign bodies, the grain then falling through a fixed grating in the form of a semi-circular trough (which is interchangeable). In the interior, an approximately 250-mm screw brush rotating at approximately 60 rpm forcibly moves the grain across the whole surface of the grating until it emerges, thus effecting a soft sorting. It consists of a first laterally agitated large-holed grating (1) with baffles (2), driven by the rod (3) and pulley (4) from the screw brush (7) whose reinforced nylon bristles are arranged in a helix inside the semicircular trough grating 6 which ensures that earth and broken grain are removed.
