WASHING ROD DEVICE FOR WASHING TUBE BUNDLE OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: To prolong service life of a hose by providing a bundle of spray lances which are connected to the coupling element in the line of a high pressure hose and which carry spray heads at their free ends and drive means for a hose drum and driving the coupling element synchronously during unwinding operation of hose. CONSTITUTION: End part of a spray lance 13 fixed with a spray head is inserted into the tube 16 of a heat exchanger 17. When the switch of a high pressure pump us turned on, a bundle of spray lances is moved to the left by a drive means 20 and the spray head 16 is moved forward through the tube 16. Consequently, deposits in the pipe 16 are stripped and washed out by cleaning water flowing out from a nozzle under high pressure. When a coupling member 12 approaches a guide block 14 at the end of stroke, the switch of the high pressure pump is turned off and the spray lance 13 is returned back to wind a high pressure hose 5 around a hose drum 2. The coupling member 12 is driven to the left simultaneously with driving of the drum in the unwinding direction thus releasing the coupling member 12 and the drum 2 from tensile load or pressure load.
