METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT INDUCTION CULTURE OF LYMPHOKINE ACTIVATED KILLER CELL

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the title cell having high activity at a low cost by reducing an amount of interleukin 2 used and simultaneously adding human transferrin to a culture medium when a lymphokine activated killer cell is induced using a human lymphocyte. CONSTITUTION:Induction culture of a lymphokine activated killer cell is carried out using a culture medium reduced in an amount of interleukin 2 (IL-2) used and simultaneously containing a human transferrin added thereto. The human transferrin is preferably added to a liquid culture medium in a concentration of 2-20mug/ml based on the liquid medium. The IL-2 is preferably used at an amount of 1/2-1/10 of normal amount.
