PURPOSE:To display a retrieved object of art on a high-fidelity TV screen and to use retrieved results for lectures as they are. CONSTITUTION:The 1st storage device 11 which stores data regarding objects of art in the form of a data base in which each object of art is correlated with each defined registration number and the 2nd storage device 12 which stores a presentation file formed by arranging prescribed registration numbers in corresponding to continuous sequential numbers are prepared. A data base is retrieved in accordance with a retrieval instruction inputted from an input device 30 and the presentation file is prepared by utilizing the retrieved results. In addition, since the objects of art are displayed on a high-fidelity TV monitor 50 in their arranged order in the presentation file when a terminal 70 is operated, this device can be utilized for lectures using slides for explanation.
