摘要

PURPOSE: To provide paper useful for producing articles of improved qualities, particularly corrugated cardboard of improved strength, by incorporating a specific additive and applying a secondary processing such as the heating so that the additive functions. CONSTITUTION: This paper is produced by disentangling textile material components in an aqueous suspension by a beater and incorporating such an additive as gives higher-class intermediate articles or final products of improved qualities when the paper is subjected to the secondary processing to adsorb the additive on the disentangled fibers. For example, polyethylene/polypropylene is used as the additive so that base paper for corrugated cardboard of improve strength in dry and wet states is obtained by subjecting to high temperature treatment in the papermaking process to coagulate the polyethylene/ polypropylene incorporated in the paper.
