PURPOSE:To obtain a final printed matter based on printed thermally plastic film at a required extension rate in a longitudinal direction by allowing the printed thermally plastic film to run a space between pinch rolls and heating said film. CONSTITUTION:The rate of circumferential length of a printing roll used for the unit printing pitch of final printed matter is calculated, and a design for making a printing plate with a longitudinal direction compressed at said rate against an original design prepared at a unit printing pitch corresponding to that of the final printed matter, is prepared. Then said printing roll is made using said design for making a printing plate and the printing roll prepared is used on a printer to print thermally plastic film. After that, the printed thermally plastic film is allowed to run between paired pinch rolls rotating at different feed speeds from the other, and at the same time, said printed thermally plastic film is heated using a heater.
