CONNECTING TOOL OF BRANCH PIPE FOR CITY GAS PIPING

PURPOSE:To contrive easy, prompt and inexpensive work of execution by providing constitution such that seal members can be brought into firmly press contact with a connecting tool main unit and a valve seat through pressing thereof by making three opening part communication conditions of the valve seat selectable from four conditions and arranging the seal member between the valve seat and an internal narrowed fitting part of the connecting tool main unit. CONSTITUTION:Four conditions, consisting of a condition of connecting all the three opening parts 14a, 14b, 14c of a valve seat 10 and three conditions of connecting only two arbitrary opening parts of these three opening parts 14a, 14b, 14c in a flow path 15 of a valve unit 11, are formed selectably by rotationally operating the valve unit 11. Constitution is provided such that communication of fellow city gas pipe connection parts 1b, branch pipe connection part la and both the city gas pipe connection parts 1b through a clearance between a connecting tool main unit 1 and the valve seat 10 can be impeded by symmetrically arranging four connecting parts 16c relating to the rotational center C of the valve unit 11 and bringing seal members 16a to 16c into press contact with an internal narrowed fitting part 1c of the connecting tool main unit 1.
