SALVAGING METHOD FOR FLOATING SUNKEN VESSEL

PURPOSE:To facilitate the salvage of a sunken vessel, by forming a space capable of sealing gas by utilizing a hull structure inside the sunken vessel, and feeding gas inside the space, and sealing the space, and easily floating up the sunken vessel body on the sea by utilizing the buoyancy generated by the gas. CONSTITUTION:A passage 6 for the going-in/out of workers is set in the bottom part of a space inside a sunken vessel which is to be sealed with gas, and an airtight-broken part in the upper part of a hull structure body 5 or the part requiring the holding of airtightness is filled with a filling sealant 8 consisting of a water-hardened type high polymeric material or a ceramics material by using a pouring device, and a perfect sealed structure is formed. Then, gas is sent into the inside of the airtight space 7 of the sunken vessel 1 by using an air feeding pipe 4 from an air compressor 3 installed on a salvaged vessel 2, and a buoyancy is generated, and the hull is floated up on the sea by utilizing this buoyancy. While, according to the working environment, the hull is floated in the sea under the sea level, and after the vessel is shifted from the sinking place, the salvage work is carried out.
