ELECTRIC GOVERNER DEVICE FOR STEAM TURBINE

PURPOSE:To continue operation of a steam turbine and to increase its reliability even in the case of troubles of electrohydraulic converters by providing two electrohydraulic converters in parallel for duplication, and also by providing a high selector for selecting control oil pressure in these electrohydraulic converters. CONSTITUTION:Electrohydraulic converters 18 and 19 are connected to an output circuit of an electric governer 4 through ON-OFF switches 14, 15 and signal regulators 18, 19. Outputs from these electrohydraulic converters 18 and 19 are fed to a high selector 22 through stop valves 20 and 21. Outputs from the high selector 22 is fed to a servomotor 10. When the electrohydraulic converter 18, which serves as a main apparatus, is in trouble, control oil pressure PC1 is lowered, at that time, control oil pressure PC2 is fed to the servomotor 10 for controlling a turbine 1 owing to a high signal selecting function of the high selector 22. In other words, the main electrohydraulic converter 18 is switched to an waiting electrohydraulic converter 19. Thus, reliability of the turbine 1 is improved so that sudden shut down of the turbine 1 is avoided even if some electric parts are in trouble.
