ZINC-IRON-GROUP METAL ALLOY PLATING BATH AND ZINC-IRON-GROUP METAL ALLOY PLATING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of deposited alloy composition and the control of concentration by using an organic solvent as a solvent at the same time of preparing a plating bath by dissolving zinc metal salt and iron group metal salt in a solvent. CONSTITUTION:In a plating bath prepared by dissolving zinc metal salt and iron-group metal salt in a solvent, an organic solvent is used as the above solvent and the above zinc metal salt and iron-group metal salt are both chlorides (e.g., ZnCl2, NiCl2), and further, the above organic solvent is the one having =10 dielectric constant (e.g., methanol) and perchlorates (e.g., tetrabutyl ammonium perchlorate) are contained as supporting salt. By this method, the control of the deposited alloy composition can be facilitated, and a plating both of zinc - iron-group metal alloy easy of plating bath control can be obtained by a simplified method.
