METHOD FOR CULTURING TISSUE OF PLANT, APPARATUS THEREFOR AND PRODUCTION OF METABOLITE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To carry out tissue culture at a high density without damaging plant tissues and improve productivity of a metabolite by culturing the plant tissues in a culture vessel while feeding a liquid culture medium having a high dissolved oxygen concentration under specific conditions thereto. CONSTITUTION:Plant tissues or cells are cultured in a culture vessel while feeding a liquid culture medium at =10ppm dissolved oxygen concentration in a flow state so as not to provide vibration to the plant tissues or cells. Furthermore, the aforementioned culture medium is preferably fed forcibly in a piston flow in order to feed the culture medium so as not to provide the vibration to the plant tissues. A filter, etc., are preferably provided on the discharge side of the culture medium of the culture vessel for preventing the plant tissues from flowing out.
