SIDE FLOW-RESISTANT PILING WORK FOR PILE-FOUNDATION BUILDING

PURPOSE:To prevent the displacement of a pile foundation structure by a method in which earth anchors are set vertically, horizontally, and slantly and fixed to hard ground on the adjacent underground construction side from a floor slab integrated with piles, and a tension is introduced into the anchors. CONSTITUTION:A rigid floor slab 3 is formed on the first floor portion of a pile foundation structure constructed in soft ground, and the heads of piles 4 are integrated on the plane. Two directions of x and y are checked by a non-contact displacement meter from a point where there is no likelihood of side flow to determine a point of giving a resistance to side flow. An earth anchor 8 is directed horizontally, vertically, and slantly through a roller 5 toward the adjacent underground construction side and its tip is fixed to rigid ground 9. The anchor 8 is tensed by a center hole jack 7 to introduce a tension into the structure.
