OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR REAR CUFF AND FRONT CUFF IN REAR ENTRY TYPE SKI BOOTS

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of operating an opening and closing lever while a rear cuff being pressed with a hand by providing an opening and closing lever on a lever pedestal mounted on the back of the rear cuff, and passing the other end of a connecting wire fitted to the forward end side of the opening and closing lever from the lever pedestal through the rear cuff and drawing out the same from the upper portion of a front cuff to be fixed to the upper portion of the rear cuff. CONSTITUTION:A lever accommodating recess portion 18 is provided on the back of a rear cuff 15, and a lever pedestal 19 is fitted to the bottom portion of the above portion in such a manner as to freely slide. An opening and closing lever 22 is rotatably installed on the lever pedestal 19 by a pin 21. Further, a connecting wire 29 for connecting the rear cuff 15 and a front cuff 14 to each other is passed through a wire insert hole 27 of the opening and closing lever 22. Accordingly, when the opening and closing lever 22 is turned downward, the connecting wire 29 is loosed, so that the rear cuff 15 can be opened, and when the opening and closing lever 22 is pushed down in the lever accommodating recess portion 18, the rear cuff 15 can be closed.
