ELECTRONIC CALCULATOR WITH GRAPHIC DISPLAY FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To display a graph together with axes of coordinates and measures to make the graph easy to see by calculating axes of coordinates and measures on a basis of a variable of a preliminarily set function and adding measures to wider spaces of a display screen area divided by calculated axes of coordinates to display the graph. CONSTITUTION:Each data of a functional formula inputted from a key input part 1 is written in an address of a numerical formula buffer 7 indicated by an execution pointer 4 and is read into a calculation part 5. The part 5 uses registers 3A-3P of a memory part 3 to execute the calculation of the functional formula from the numerical formula buffer 7 under the control of a control part 2. The part 5 reads out data for graph display and display of axes of coordinates and measures from the memory part 3 and sends them to a graph display buffer 6A of a display buffer part 6 when the functional calculation is executed, and the operating part 5 sends data for display of normal numerical values or the like to a text display buffer 6B in case of display of normal numerical values or the like. Measures are added to wider spaces of the display screen area divided by calculated axes of coordinates and are displayed automatically on a matrix type display part together with the graph.
