DEVICE FOR DETECTING AND CORRECTING AUTOMATICALLY HOMONYM ERROR IN JAPANESE SENTENCE

PURPOSE:To detect the homonym error by replacing the detected homonym error with a correction candidate, setting a semantically continued correction candidate as a correct answer candidate, and setting all the correction candidates as correct answer candidates, in the case there is no semantically continued correction candidate at all. CONSTITUTION:With regard to one each of the homonyms contained in a test noun train extracted by a test noun train extracting part 3, a homonym error detecting part 4 tests whether it is a homonym error or not by retrieving front/rear semantics connecting dictionaries 11, 12 by using the character face as a key. A correction candidate extracting part 5 retrieves a homonym dictionary 10 by reading of a word tested to be the homonym error, and extracts a correction candidate. When that which can be connected exists even one in the correction candidates, a correction candidate detecting part 6 sets all the correction candidates that can be connected as correct answer candidates and sends them to an output part 7, and when there is no correction candidate which can be connected at all, all the correction candidates that can be extracted by the correction candidate extracting part 5 are set as correct answer candidates and sent to the output part 7. In such a way, the homonym error is detected exactly.
