TRASH COLLECTOR AND COLLECTING METHOD FOR MULTISTORY DWELLING HOUSE

PURPOSE:To secure transportation capability of a general elevator so as to prevent bad small by forming an elevation passage through which respective floors of a building communicate with each other, providing a plurality of elevator type cages connected together, and providing an opening and closing door on each floor so as to load and unload a trash collecting box. CONSTITUTION:An elevator passage 2 is provided in a multistory building 1. A plurality of cages 6 are connected together by a wire rope 5 and arranged so that they can be freely elevated and lowered. Each cage 6 is provided with an operating switch (not shown) of a means which does not stop even by a loading stop signal and this switch is used under a full load condition. The cage 6 is so miniaturized as to load only one trash collecting box 7, so that an installing space is decreased. An opening and closing door 8 for sending and receiving the trash collecting box 7 and a cage calling switch 9 are provided on each froor of the elevation passage 2. According to this construction, the transportation capacity of a general elevator is not influenced and bad smell can be prevented.
