PEPTIDES WITH ACCUMULATED PAIR OF BASIC AMINO ACIDS

By synthesis on solid phase a group of 16 heptapeptides was prepared with cumulated pair of basic aminoacids in position of 4 and 5 of general formulaL-Leu-Gly-L-Val - X - X - Gly-L-Phe,where X is L-Arg, D-Arg, L-Lys or D-Lys and their mutual combination. The above mentioned substances are prepared by gradual formation of peptide chain on chloromethylated polystyrene carrier cross-linked by 1 percent of divinyl benzene and they are released from the carrier by splitting by liquid hydrogen fluoride with addition of 10 percent anisole. Heptapeptides represent a complex system of substances utilizable for characteristics of specific hydrolases from the group of trypsins, cathepsins B and other similar enzymes.
