ABSTRACTTo bring not only a front-mounted hydraulic three-point linkage,but also other desireable components such as a power take-offcasing and a bearing element adapted to carry ballast weightsand incorporating a draft jaw, as near as possible to the frontwheel axle and substantially behind the front surface of thefront panelling of a farm tractor, the support for all frontallydisposed components is a frame flange-mounted on, or integralwith, the front axle bearer. The links are disposed outside thepanelling, can be swung behind the front surface of thepanelling into an inoperative position, are carried by a tubularrock shaft which is connected to hydraulic cylinders, and haverespective rear extensions. Each link can, in a certain angularposition, be removeably fitted by means of a journal into thetubular rock shaft and, in all other angular positions, can befixed axially by confining its rear extension in a pocket on therock shaft with or without limited angular float by means of aretaining bolt engageable in alternative holes. To preset thelowered position of the lower links, a pivotable holder withlaterally extending arms can be mounted in the jaw by a bolt,and chains connected to the links can be suspended by any one oftheir links at the ends of the arms.
