To work or treat a body immersed in a medium, such as a wet chemical and/or thermal action on a circuit board, a mechanical oscillating system (4) works on the fluid medium (14) and the immersed body (7) to generate movement and/or flow pulses to intensify the action of the liq. on the surface of the body and through any drillings in it. Pref. the mechanical oscillating system (4) activated by periodical force application to give oscillations in the audio frequency range. The body (7) is passed through the medium (14), which is recirculated at and through the body (7). An electrical field is generated in the medium (14) through an electrical body, and this or the immersed body (7) can be used as an electrode, or at least one mechanical oscillating system (4) acts as an electrode. ADVANTAGE - The method ensures max. contact between the treatment medium and all the surface areas of the immersed body, in a simple and effective operation.
