Appts. has a flow-producing device that enables the contaminants to be skimmed off whether the system is or is not in motion in the water. Pref. the contaminants flow into a pump sump without forming a mixture with the water. Contaminants with poor flowability not being pushed along when the arrangement moves through the contaminated water are fed into the pump sump.
