Search and erasing of computer game programmes - using programme with search strings to locate games in memory

A search process is used to locate computer games that are stored in memory in systems that can either be stand alone or networked. The system uses a hard disc (5) to store a number of games, together with a floppy disc store. - A further floppy disc (2) is used to enter game search strings for use by a search programme (3). The name of the game is displayed (8) on the screen.
