A clamping strip (1) with a pressure-equalising insert (2) has a retaining arm of tongue (6) at each end which is pushed through matching rectangular slots (7, 8) in a flexible board (5) and a rigid board (4) respectively. An eccentric lever (3) exerting a strong retentive force is passed through holes (9) in the ends of the arms or tongues (6), and turned through about 90 deg. so that a kink (10) near each end abuts against the rigid circuit board (4). ADVANTAGE - Contact between tracks on rigid and flexible printed boards is ensured without tolerance problems and with high contact security.
