The valve has a magnetic coil (18) with a cooperating armature (37) having an attached valve closure (33) displaced relative to a valve seat (31) provided by a shoulder between 2 bore sections (25C, 25D) of different dia. in a cylindrical valve element (22). The latter is enclosed by a cylindrical sleeve (16), receiving a pole piece (27) at its opposite end and contained within a housing (10) which is sealed by an end cover (11).
