Ship fire-fighting equipment - has controlled module with monitor for fire-fighting in other ships and utilising shipboard equipment

The ship has base enclosing an opening in the deck and accommodating a platform. The latter supports a controlled prefabricated module extending above and below the deck. The ship has its own firefighting equipment and power-generation system. The module (10) and platform (11) accomodate all necessary firefighting equipment and monitor (12) discharging extinguishing liquid. It is connected by a seawater pipe (13) to the shipboard firefighting equipment (14), and electrically to the power-generation system. When the module is in use, it utilises the functions of the shipboard equipment. ADVANTAGE - Allows firefighting on another ship.
