The work platform is for various types of building work. The platform is formed from a series of supports (1) formed from a pair of columns (3,4) rigidly linked (6). Telescopic extensions (7,8) allow for height adjustment. The cross members (9) supporting the work platform are pin joined at one end (19) and slot jointed (18) at the other.
