Trimming potted plants with adjustable frame mounted on wheels - using two flanking series of forks to gather in plant foliage and cutter to cut off tops of plants

The mobile machine for trimming potted azaleas is equipped with forks (12) on two opposite sides of a frame, which move inwards over the pots (5) towards the plants (6). The forks (12) have a series of cut-outs (13) into which the plants (6) are gathered, bundling the foliage up together. At the same time the pots (5) are securely held down and the cutter (26) cuts off the tops of the plants (6), reducing them in height. The forks (12) are fixed in a frame which is adjustable horizontally and vertically, and on the same frame is the device (23) for holding down the pots (5), and the adjustable cutter (26). USE/ADVANTAGE - Machine relieves the otherwise arduous and time consuming manual work of trimming large numbers of potted azaleas.
