This is a system for moving, and depositing where required, heavy loads in conditions affected by heat, water and petroleum. It has to ensure that no heat-sensitive or, in general, no parts of the transport arrangement are carried over the required depositing position before or after the setting down of the load. It also has to ensure that all parts of the transport arrangement can be made heat-resistant and, in addition, can be thermally insulated. USE/ADVANTAGE - The system enables heavy loads to be deposited on to a burning oil-well to facilitate and save time in preparations for extinguishing the fire.
