The central sprinkler system has a central water supply with a rotary link for a distribution pipe, extending in radial direction. It has sprinkler nozzles and is rotatable round the supply source, round which is fitted a turntable. On the latter is fitted a counterweight (12) formed by concrete blocks, located opposite to the distributor pipe (9), which carries the boom with the distributor pipe. ADVANTAGE - Reduced faulty operation tendency, and improved wind stability.
