ANTI-CORROSIVE PROTECTIVE LAYER OF METALLIC MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MAKING ANTI-CORROSIVE PROTECTIVE LAYER

摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance the fracture resistance to external force by a method wherein a metallic material is covered with a silicone rubber layer in bonded state and further covered with resin varnish-impregnated glass cloth layer in non-bonded state. CONSTITUTION:The tube wall 1 of a steel water pipe is covered through a primer layer 2 by a silicone rubber layer 3 in bonded state. Further, said silicone rubber layer 3 is covered by an unsaturated polyester resin varnish-impregnated glass cloth tape layer 4, which is bonded to itself and is non-bonded to the silicone rubber layer, in order to obtain an anti-corrosive protective layer. Even when the water pipe with said anti-corrosive protective layer is left outdoors for one year, no rust generates on the surface of the water pipe and neither crack develops nor damage occurs on the unsaturated polyester resin varnish- impregnated glass cloth tape layer 4.
