ON-FOOK METHOD FOR RADIO TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To eliminate a useless time by permitting a timing means to delay the operation of an operation part by a time necessary for an on-hook action and cutting a power source. CONSTITUTION:Upon the completion of a call, as a basic action, a start/on-hook button 8 is pressed to transmit on-hook information to a basic station through a control part 4. after the recognition signal of the basic station is obtained, the call action is terminated through the control of the control part 9. Then the operation part 9 of a power source switch is operated to stop power source supply from a battery power source 12 through a switch part 11. If an operator presses the operation part 9 of the power source switch without pressing the start/on-hook button 8, the control part 4 is caused to do an on-hook action with the operation of the operation part 9 as on-hook information. On the other hand, after the timing means 10 causes an electric or mechanical timer to delay in a fixed time, the switch part 11 disconnects the battery power source 12. Thus the operation never shifts to the unnecessary standby processing.
