The vibration control material constituted in such a manner can be installed by heating the material to soften the magnetic high-molecular viscoelstic sheet 12 to an easily plastically deformable state at the time of sticking the material to a vibrator 13 and, therefore, the material can be tightly adhered with the good fit even to the vibrator 13 having ruggedness, such as welding traces, rivet traces and unequal coating. The vibration damping effect is thus exhibited by effectively utilizing the sliding friction on the boundary of the vibrator.
