PURPOSE:To dispense with pretreatment such as the concn. of a sample and to rapidly and accurately analyze the ion component in sample by forming a calibration curve using a standard solution composition consisting of an iron ion, alcohol, sucrose and water and analyzing the iron component in the sample on the basis of the calibration curve. CONSTITUTION:At first, an atomic absorption calibration curve is formed using a standard solution composition containing a definite amount of an iron ion and consisting of alcohol, sucrose and water. Next, sake being a sample is subjected to measurement as it is and the concn. of iron in the sample is calculated using the atomic absorption calibration curve using the standard solution composition. By this method, iron can be accurately quantified up to the ppb order.
