METHOD FOR CORRECTING VARTICALITY OF PILE IN DRIVING OF PILE

PURPOSE:To easily detect the verticality of a pile while driving the pile, by communicating on the data of two upper and lower marks on the pile, which are calculated by a theodolite at two measuring points provided in the direction right-angled to a pile driving planning point, with a pile driving ship by radio. CONSTITUTION:Survey stands 1, 2 are provided at both points A, B in the direction almost right-angled to a pile driving planning point P, and electronic theodolites 8, 9 and radio transmitters 10, 11 are mounted on said stands 1, 2. A pile driving ship 6 is arranged on the side opposite to the survey stands 1, 2 as viewed from the point P. The pile driving ship 6 hangs up a pile 12 vertically by a leader 6' to move the same to the planning point P and the top end of the pile 12 is pressed by a pile driving machine to allow the pile to sink. Two or more marks 12A, 12B... are applied to the upper part of the pile 12 and observed by theodolites 8, 9 to send the data of the marks 12A, 12B... to the computer 7 on the pile driving ship 6 by a radio system. By this method, the vertically of the pile 12 is precisely detected and corrected to perform the correct driving of the pile.
