METALLIC MOLD FOR LOST FOAM PATTERN AND PRODUCTION OF THIN METALLIC MOLD

PURPOSE: To improve the release property of a wax pattern by providing a plating layer consisting of nickel contg. fluororesin particles or/and boron nitride particles on the inside surface of the cavity of the metallic mold. ;CONSTITUTION: The plating layer 4 of the nickel contg. the fluororesin particles 5 is formed on the inside surface of the cavity of the metallic mold 1. The above-mentioned fluororesin is polytetrafluoroethylene, tetrafluoroethylene fluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer, etc. Electroless plating is applied on the inside surface of the cavity of the metallic mold by using the plating liquid of the nickel contg. the fluororesin particles or/and boron nitride particles, by which the metallic mold for the lost foam pattern is produced. The good release property of the wax pattern is obtd. in this way.
