Use of polyphosphagenic derivatives containing alkyl and/or aryl groups directly bound to the atoms of phosphorus of the phosphagenic chain with phosphorus-carbon bonds, as stationary phases for packed gas chromatography columns to be used at high temperature (250-350 degrees C) intervals. The said polyphosphagenic derivatives are prepared by making N-trimethylsilyl-P-alkoxyphosphoranimmines react by means of a polycondensation reaction carried out at variable temperatures between 160 and 190 degrees C.
