The platform holder (20) comprises a U-shaped support plate (61) whose central portion (66) between the uprights (67) is provided with a bearing face of vertical corner (63 ) cross-sectionally T-shaped and diverging towards the support plate (61) to form a bearing face for the (s) area (s) (33) of the locking mechanism (28) of the platform. A recess corresponding U-shaped (22), serving as a passage in the support plate (61) is in the rear wall (16) of the housing of the stanchion (11) at its lower end.
