Breast prosthesis has two outer chambers formed by silicon-filled casings of sheet material. These enclose an air-filled inner chamber. The outer chamber towards the body of the wearer has a passage shut by a valve, and through which air can be pumped into or released from the inner chamber. The peripheral edges of the silicon-filled chambers can be welded together to form the inner chamber. There can be a stiff annular wall enclosing the passage to the inner chamber, filled with harder silicon, and polyurethane can be used for the casings. ADVANTAGE - Easy alteration of volume without discomfort to the wearer.
