A holder (15) movable in three dimensions w.r.t. the dashboard (14) is set in front of the multifunctional display unit (18) with a cap-shaped knob (6) on which five keys (7-11) are recessed into respective hollows, shaped and sized for the thumb and fingers of an operated seated on either side. A sixth key (12) is provided in a central position corresp. to the palm of the hand. The knob (6) is rotatable about a vertical axis. ADVANTAGE - Can be operated easily and comfortably by (large or small) hand of driver or passenger.
