An electronic controller (37) monitors readings of tachometers (38) associated with individual wheels, whose brakes (13-16) are supplied with fluid from the master cylinder (11). A high-pressure pump (29) draws fluid from the passive reservoir (33) between the master cylinder (11) and brake line (20) in each of two independent circuits (I, II). Brake fluid pressure is modulated by two-position two-port inlet and outlet valves (22, 23), with isolating valves (24) in the front-wheel brake lines (20.2). ADVANTAGE - Relatively simple structure provides additional fluid for wheel-slip correction, avoiding restricted cross-sections short path to high-pressure pump. .
