Material comprises a polystyrene film with a polyamide or viscose coating. Such materials occupy a high vol. and are difficult to dispose of after use. Cheap and simple recycling of such material can be achieved if the coating consists of recycled carriers and/or carrier scrap in a solvent. The resulting soln., consisting of polystyrene styrene is expanded and applied to a polystyrene base film before embossing. USE/ADVANTAGE - The padding is used in case construction is cheaper and easier to recycle, thereby reducing the need for waste disposal
