Draught excluder which fits in recess under door - is raised to seal gap between door and floor by drive actuated by closing door

The draught excluder, for sealing the gap under the lower edge of a door or a folding wall, is fitted in a recess in the floor. Its upper surface is flush with the floor when the door is open. The draught excluder is supported on rollers attached to the upper ends of levers which are pivoted to the floor of the recess. These levers are attached to a cable (95) which passes around a guide pulley (94) and has its free end attached to a lever (21) which is mounted in the doorpost. ADVANTAGE - The draught excluder is concealed when the door is open but seals the door when closed.
